So this is a very overdue post... Cuz Bobo sent me the pictures late... But on the last day of Block Tests, on Friday, despite being disappointed and whatnot about our geography papers, we went to sogurt! And then Macs, so it was seriously an avalanche of food! Not so healthy but still, it's like a once in a lifetime thing... since we're all so busy...
So we took 3 pictures at sogurt, and Bobo made them into a collage. Well, we didn't take any photos at Macs, cuz we were busy chatting and laughing away... But still, a great date! :)

The Weird Dream
God, I can't believe this, I fell asleep. At 3pm on a Saturday... Goodness me, I must be like really tired... Well I am, actually.
So I had this really weird dream... I dreamt that all of a sudden, all of you guys were eating in class! And y'all were eating this huge cake, and I don't know why, but it seemed so barbaric. You guys didn't even use cutlery and stuff, you were just biting off from the huge cake itself. And icing and crumbs were dropping everywhere. And then I came in and screamed. I said something like, "Oh My God, what are you people doing? Get out of here right now! And clean up this mess!" I remember I screamed really harshly, and what's more, I didn't feel guilty for scolding you guys at all. All of a sudden, I felt that it was meant to be. I was meant to scream and shout at y'all and make y'all feel like people under my charge. But what?! In reality, that's the last thing I want to make you awesome people feel.
Ok and that's not all. I thought that the dream was reality, and thought that I woke up in school, and thought that I asked one of you, "did I just shout at y'all?" And you said, "duh... Why suddenly so fierce?" And I thought that the whole nightmare was reality and I got so freaked out and woke up. Like in reality this time.
God I don't know what happened. I don't even know why I had the dream. I don't want to know all of this.
You know, people always say, you never know where your dreams come from... Maybe there's a land out there, where all your dreams get created, and another land out there, where all your dreams get forgotten. Maybe in heaven, there's a department where some of God's most intelligent angels create our dreams, trying to tell us something. But somehow, we human beings just don't get it, and can't unpack the message of these dreams. Maybe that's how we sometimes fail to make the right decisions... But isn't that part and parcel of life? Making wrong choices and learning from them?

Something meaningful...
So here's something that Claud posted on her blog sometime ago. This one's slightly different... But the message is the same.
I went to a party,
And remembered what you said.
You told me not to drink Mom,
So I had a sprite instead.
I felt proud of myself,
The way you said I would,
That I didn't drink and drive,
Though some friends said I should.
I made a healthy choice,
And your advice to me was right,
The party finally ended,
And the kids drove out of sight.
I got into my car,
Sure to get home in one piece,
I never knew what was coming Mom,
Something I expected least.
Now I'm lying on the pavement,
And I hear the policeman say,
The kid that caused this wreck was drunk,
Mom, his voice seems far away.
My own blood's all around me,
As I try hard not to cry.
I can hear the paramedic say,
This girl is going to die.
I'm sure the guy had no idea,
While he was flying high,
Because he chose to drink and drive,
Now I would have to die.
So why do people do it, Mom
Knowing that it ruins lives?
And now the pain is cutting me,
Like a hundred stabbing knives.
Tell sister not to be afraid, Mom
Tell daddy to be brave,
And when I go to heaven,
Put Daddy's Girl on my grave.
Someone should have taught him,
That its wrong to drink and drive.
Maybe if his parents had,
I'd still be alive.
My breath is getting shorter, Mom
I'm getting really scared.
These are my final moments,
And I'm so unprepared.
I wish that you could hold me Mom,
As I lie here and die.
I wish that I could say, "I love you, Mom!"
So I love you and good-bye.

I'll remember you, so please try to remember me...
So yesterday, daddy came home from the Parent-Teacher Meeting. Apparently he talked to you, or rather, you requested to talk to him...
Daddy came home and told me you told him many things about me. Good and bad. There are even some things that I don't know how you knew. Some very personal things, like how I really feel about certain things... Maybe all humanities teachers are like that, having the ability to analyse a "source" and make accurate inferences from it...
You know, I don't know to be happy or freaked out.You know so much. And I don't know how. I remember all those times that we talked. Just the two of us. Like two close friends. I remember how awkward I felt in those conversations. And I remember how you always made me feel more comfortable. You would tell me so much about yourself. And maybe that's how I told you some stuff unknowingly. I would like to think that this is a good thing though, I would like to think that you like talking to me, and I would like to think that you care for me.
But I'm not sure. I know you care for all of us. But the selfish side of me wants you to care more for me. Because I care so much for you.
You know, some people say it's pretty obvious that you favour me. But why don't I feel it? I've always wanted you to feel proud of us. All of us. I remember how I promised you we'll get an A for class cleanliness, and I promise that I will keep to that promise. I know time is running out. The year's gonna end in a flash. And I don't want to leave you with the impression that I only make empty promises.
It's still early to say this, but I promise, I'll remember you. I'll remember everything about you. How you always put in so much into our lessons. How you always made the effort to talk to me so regularly. How you always assured me that I can look for you whenever, wherever, although I would never trouble you with any of my meaningless worries.
I'll remember you, and I want you to remember me... I know you've got many students, many outstanding students, I mean just look at our class... Who am I to deserve a place in your memory? I don't know, maybe it's because I'm selfish, but I want you to remember me.
Maybe it's because I told you so much, unconsciously, so much that I didn't tell anyone else before, because I didn't want anyone to know. I don't know how, but you saw me on the inside. Who I really am. How I really feel. What I really think.
And I don't want the world to see me
'Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's meant to be broken
I just want you to know who I am

Listen to your heart...
I just talked to you. You told me how angry you were with yourself. You told me how you hated yourself. You told me how you don't want to continue fighting anymore.
Well, I didn't know what to tell you just now. We are so far apart, literally. And the only way we could talk was via a video chat. I couldn't hold you tight and let you feel better. I couldn't put an arm around you and tell you that that test does not define who you are. And I couldn't give you my shoulder to cry on.
I know this meant a lot to you. I know you are disappointed. And I know that everyone has told you that it's ok, that this time, it is an exception, that you are better than that score. But I know, that it is not ok. I know you are disappointed, cuz I've been there before.
But darling,
Perhaps you think it's all over, it's all gone, just like that, in a puff. But you know what, when you think it's over, God always has a way of showing you that it's not. All you've gotta do is be patient and wait. And be kind to yourself. You said you don't want to fight anymore, but hey,
You know you've got this right, and the whole world knows. You've come such a long way, it's not time to give up yet. Darling, try one more time, believe in yourself just one more time.
You know, you always told me what you thought courage was. You said courage is being able to try time after time again, even though you're afraid of failing. Yup, that's it! Just try one more time dear, just one more time. Everything happens for a reason darling, and you know that. Maybe God was trying to tell you something? Maybe He was telling you that this is not meant for you? You know that too yourself don't you? This is what people think you can do well in, but you don't believe in doing this right? Maybe God was telling you to listen to your heart and do what YOU think is suitable for you. And maybe He was telling you that your talents could be of better use somewhere else.
A special someone once told me, your heart is always talking to you. You've just gotta pay a little extra attention and take good notes. Follow your heart darling, you're worth so much more than this. Really.
Next time we talk, I'll tell you so much more, cuz right now, I don't know what to say, and I guess I don't have to say much.
But before I leave you to read this, and hope that it will heal you in some way, I just want you to know something really important. I love you, and I don't want to see you cry like this ever again, cuz you don't deserve this pain. But you know what? You can stop this pain, and never experience it again, only if you listen to your heart. It tells you millions...

We did it. Together!
Oh my God, I seriously cannot believe this, Block Test 2 2013 is over. FINALLY...
Well, today's papers were alright, but i made stupid mistakes in the geography paper and yeah... didn't feel good about that, but never mind. ALL IS WELL! :)
So right now, BTs are over, and fund fair is coming up... But it's ok, we'll fight through it together again. :)
I'm just really happy that BT2 is over. Like really. I'm delighted. Remember how all of us panicked over the tests, and how we helped each other out through it all...
You guys may not know, but I am so incredibly proud of just being part of the class.
You guys may not know, but I am so exceptionally grateful for all the support that you awesome people have given me and continue to give, and for everything that every single one of you contributed to the class.
You guys may not know, but I love every single one of you so unbelievably much, I love coming to class everyday and seeing how we fight through everything, no matter how hard, and how we never leave anyone of us behind.
You guys may not know, and I myself may not even know, but every one of you are my family. And families don't ever break up and leave each other.
So to my 30 other family members, I love y'all and just want to say that. I hope we stay like this, together, forever. I know we will, no matter what happens. And I know that a part of me will always be with you.
So here's to some of the best people in the world...
You walked with me, footprints in the sand
And helped me understand where I’m going
You walked with me when I was all alone
With so much I know along the way
Then I heard you say
I promise you, I’m always there
When your heart is filled with sorrow and despair
I’ll carry you when you need a friend
You’ll find my footprints in the sand
I see my life flash across the sky
So many times have I been so afraid
And just when I have thought I lost my way
You give me strength to carry on
That’s when I heard you say
I promise you, I’m always there
When your heart is filled with sorrow and despair
And I’ll carry you when you need a friend
You’ll find my footprints in the sand
When I’m weary, well, I know you’ll be there
And I can feel you when you say
I promise you, I’m always there
When your heart is filled with sadness and despair
I’ll carry you when you need a friend

Almost there...
Ok so now I officially declare that today is not the best day of my life. In fact, it is arguable one of the worst... I mean seriously, maybe it's just me, but the Block tests were really tough... I don't know what the outcome will be, and to be honest, I'm prepared for the worst.
But it's ok. I know right, this is not something that I say very often, especially when my results are concerned... But it really is ok now. I did what I could, and yup, if it doesn't turn out the way I want it to be, it's ok.
Ok, this is not a place to rant, so let's look on the positive side and hey, Block tests end TOMORROW!!! Yay!!! We're almost there friends, the finish line is in sight. Come on, last lap and ta-da! No more of these tests!
I just hope that tomorrow is better...
